Which side of your family do you resemble more?
I look almost identical to my Grandma Dorann, on my father's side. At this age the only difference is weight. It upsets my dad.
What did you do for fun when you were a kid? How is it different from what you see kids doing now?

A lot of the kids that I worked with were hopelessly addicted to video games and computers. I can't blame them, I love them. Unfortunately, as a twenty-two year old over-weight individual, I was in better shape than most of the (skinny) kids.
When I was a kid I used to rollerblade everywhere. I loved it, I walked the mile and a half up to the park, by myself and swung for an even longer period of time. I played soccer, I did dance. I had a great hugging time. I played tag with people for hours, and hide and go seek. Even as a teenager, my friends and I still went to parks and played. It was always a really hilarious event, but still, it was fun.
This past summer, when I was a camp counselor, I spent a lot of time outdoors with these same kids, and I thought they were going to die. I don't like to blame technology for the failings of parents, but I think that video games and computers are too much for parents. They're addicted to them too, so what's wrong with it?
I don't know, having a child swear at me, and say word for word things out of popular youtube videos worries me.
I'm not a parent though, what do I know?
What do you do for fun when you're broke?

I make myself laugh hysterically by telling people jokes I know aren't funny. They all seem to be too polite to just tell me that they're not funny. My personal favorite, which I learned from someone else is:
Why do elephants paint their toes red?
-So they can hide in cherry trees.
Why was the sheep flat?
-The elephant fell out of the tree.
The look of confusion on peoples' faces with these jokes make them even more hilarious.
What were the main household rules when you were growing up? What are the rules in your own house now?
Brought to you by the movie Georgia Rule.
In by street lights. That was the only rule that was militarily enforced. God help you if you weren't in.
What's a leap of faith to you? Have you ever taken one?
I make a leap of faith every single day. I have to trust that the things that I'm doing and who I'm doing them for are worth it. I have to have faith that everything I believe isn't a lie. I get up every single morning, and I try.
I make that jump every day.
What is one of your favorite poems?
Submitted by marvel is my pen name.
Silence, they say, is the
voice of complicity.
But silence is impossible.
Silence screams.
Silence is a message,
just as doing nothing is an
act.
Let who you are ring out &
resonate
in every word & every deed.
Yes, become who you are.
There's no sidestepping your
own being
or your own responsibility.
What you do is who you are.
You are your own comeuppance.
You become your own message.
You are the message.
In the Spirit of Crazy Horse

Yeah, I had probably 8,000 scrunchies when I was a kid. I didn't even wear them in my hair, I just wore them on my wrist. I had like 12 in my backpack, and they were everywhere. My favorite one was this hideous magenta one that was probably 6 inches wide. Man, what was even the point of them? They didn't even stay in your hair.
